John J Marra Obituary, Death; – On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at around 3:10 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brackenville Road in Hockessin following a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident.
Upon their arrival, officers found the rider, identified as 65-year-old John J. Marra from Hockessin, unresponsive at the scene. New Castle County Paramedics and EMS were called to the location, and despite their efforts to save his life, Marra was declared deceased.
The Traffic Services Unit of the New Castle County Division of Police has taken over the investigation.
