Brandon Wamley Obituary, Death; – Authorities are conducting an investigation into the deadly shooting of a 25-year-old individual, identified as rapper Brandon Wamley, which occurred in Hallandale Beach on Thursday evening.

Officers from the Hallandale Beach Police Department reported that they responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 500 block of Northwest Sixth Avenue.

According to officials, Wamley was taken to a local hospital with gunshot injuries and ultimately succumbed to his wounds.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was isolated, and that the victim was familiar with the suspected shooter.

The Hallandale Beach police are actively searching for the assailant, canvassing the area and seeking evidence.

A nearby resident informed Local 10’s Rosh Lowe in Spanish that he fled and concealed himself in his bathroom upon hearing several gunshots.

Witnesses have confirmed that Wamley was a rapper known by the name Wham SpinThaBin.

Records from the jail obtained by Local 10 News on Friday reveal that he had a criminal record in Broward County, which includes charges related to cannabis possession, stalking, and making threats to kill.

“It is frightening because you see police in the middle of the night. You start to wonder what is happening,” remarked another neighbor.

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to reach out to the HBPD at 954-457-1424 or to provide tips anonymously through Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
