Jose Angel Ruan Lopez Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist who lost his life in a collision earlier this week in Otay Mesa has been named by local medical authorities.
Jose Angel Ruan Lopez, aged 20, was involved in the accident on Enrico Fermi Drive heading north, situated north of Otay Mesa Road, as reported by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office on its official website.
The incident occurred on Monday at approximately 4:40 a.m., when Ruan Lopez was operating a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. For reasons yet to be determined, he collided with a yellow box truck that was disabled and parked along the eastern curb, as stated by the California Highway Patrol.
Ruan Lopez sustained severe injuries after being thrown from the motorcycle onto the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. In response to the incident, authorities closed Enrico Fermi Drive northbound to conduct an investigation.
