Jonathan Bailey Geers Obituary, Death;- The Hamilton County Coroner has confirmed the identity of the individual who perished following a car fire that caused the closure of U.S. 50 in both directions early on Friday.
As reported by the coroner, Jonathan Bailey Geers, aged 28, succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Wooster Pike in Columbia Township, where Hamilton County deputies were dispatched to examine the early-morning car fire.
The roadway was closed in both directions near Wooster Lane, with the road reopening several hours later, around 6 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the car fire.
