Latricia Green Brown Obituary, Death; – Detroit police are searching for a man who they say walked into Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit on Friday morning, shooting and killing his ex-wife in the basement of the hospital, according to WXYZ Detroit.
Mario Green is presumed to be armed and dangerous. According to WXYZ, the hospital was placed on lockdown earlier, but the lockdown is now lifted.
Green, 53, allegedly got into an argument with his ex-wife, who worked at the hospital, in the basement of the facility, according to the Detroit Free Press. They go on to say Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison says Green then pulled out a gun, shooting and killing his ex-wife. At this time, the Detroit Free Press says it’s unclear how Green was able to gain entry to parts of the hospital.
Assistant Police Chief Charles Fitzgerald told WXYZ about a month ago that his ex-wife, identified by family as Latricia Green (Brown), had filed for a personal protection order, which was not served to Green.
Fitzgerald says after the shooting, Green fled in his 2011 Dodge Charger, which WXYZ reports was found in the city Friday afternoon.
