Adam Clayton Guthrie Obituary, Death; –The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was struck by a vehicle on North Chester Avenue and Roberts Lane on Sunday and died at the hospital days later.
Adam Clayton Guthrie, 42, of Bakersfield was struck by a vehicle on North Chester Avenue and Roberts Lane on Aug. 17 around 8:47 p.m.
Guthrie was taken to Kern Medical where he was pronounced dead on Aug. 20, according to the coroner’s office. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. CHP said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash for the driver.
