Brian Posch Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the man who was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train early Tuesday morning.
Brian Posch, 29, of Clark in Union County, was hit by a Raritan Valley Line train at about 1:45 a.m. just east of Cranford Station, a transit spokesperson said.
The train had departed Newark Penn Station at 1:28 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Raritan at 2:34 a.m. None of the 25 passengers or crew members aboard the train were injured, officials said.
NJ Transit police are investigating the incident.
