Juan Arteaga Diaz,Nazario Ramirez Obituary, Death; – A person of interest has been found after three people were shot and killed in the Lake Los Angeles area near Lancaster, authorities confirmed.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department had been searching for Axel Abel Trevino, 32, in connection with Sunday’s triple homicide near 215th Street East and East Avenue Q.
When deputies responded they found three people with fatal gunshot wounds in two separate cars. Deputies believe a suspect approached in their own vehicle and opened fire on the victims before taking off.
The victims have been identified as 44-year-old Juan Arteaga Diaz, 54-year-old Nazario Ramirez and 65-year-old Beverly Cassese.
Trevino was only described as a person of interest. It’s unclear if he has been arrested.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
