Michael Christian Obituary, Death; – The Huntington Police Department has identified a man killed in a shooting Tuesday morning in Huntington
According to Cabell County dispatchers, the shooting happened just before 9:45 a.m. in the 500 block of 6th Avenue in Huntington. Huntington Police Chief Phil Watkins says they found a male victim, identified as Michael Christian, 60, of Huntington, with gunshot wounds. HPD says Christian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Huntington Police Department is still investigating the shooting, but says initial reports make them believe this was an isolated incident. The HPD is asking anyone with more information to call their tip line at 304-696-4444 or the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 304-696-4420 ext. 1083.
