Carol Cunningham Obituary, Death; – A 70-year-old woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash near Chillicothe on Monday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called on a report of a crash at U.S. Route 23 and DeBord Road, located in Huntington Township, at 3:35 p.m. OSHP said a Ford F-350 was traveling southwest on Route 23 while a Chevrolet Equinox was crossing the southbound lane of Route 23, attempting to travel northbound.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as Carol Cunningham, reportedly failed to yield from the intersection and collided with the Ford. Cunningham was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford and two of her passengers were transported with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
