Samora Cameron Tyler Arrested; – A woman was taken into custody on Friday after allegedly shooting her boyfriend.
Officials from the Huntsville Police Department reported that around noon on August 15, officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on University Drive.
Upon their arrival, officers found a woman outside the apartment who confessed to being involved in a confrontation with her boyfriend and admitted to shooting him.
The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Samora Cameron Tyler, was apprehended.
Officers then located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was subsequently transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Tyler was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence – 1st Degree.
