Sebastian Dominguez Arrested;- A man was arrested and a 17-year-old boy was killed after a shooting early Sunday morning at Panorama Park. The man arrested was identified as Sebastian Dominguez, 19, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Panorama Drive for the report of gunshots fired around 1 a.m. on Sunday. At the scene, the 17-year-old was found suffering a gunshot wound. Medical personnel assisted the teenager, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation showed there was a large gathering at the east parking lot of Panorama Park and a physical altercation began, according to police. The 17-year-old attempted to deescalate the situation and was shot by Dominguez.
Police said Dominguez was taken into custody later the same day without altercation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 661-327-7111.
