Jonathan Triplett Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old individual is currently incarcerated in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred on North 38th Street.
The incident took place in April, specifically in the vicinity of N. 38th Street and Choctaw Drive. Law enforcement officials report that a Dodge vehicle was found with numerous bullet holes. The deceased victim, identified as Jonathan Triplett, aged 18, was discovered in the driver’s seat.
According to investigators, the vehicle exhibited several bullet holes on the driver’s side, leading them to believe that the shooting was intentional.
Authorities state that the suspect, later recognized as Keithan Lee, aged 19, surrendered to law enforcement after he noticed his photograph on OnLive Patrol.
Lee has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
