Hashmatullah Durrani,Omar Durrani Obituary, Death; – Three individuals who lost their lives earlier this month in Sacramento following a suspected DUI incident have been identified.
Mohammad Shaoib Durrani, aged 22, from Sacramento; Hashmatullah Durrani, aged 24, also from Sacramento; and Omar Durrani, aged 25, from Fremont, perished in the crash that occurred on August 2 at approximately 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of Roseville Road and Connie Drive, as reported by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The incident involved a Dodge Charger that was engulfed in flames and a Ford F-150 truck that appeared to have overturned, according to the Sacramento Police Department. Officers attempted to extinguish the fire but were unsuccessful, as stated by law enforcement.
Two of the Durrani brothers were located inside the Dodge, while the third appeared to have been ejected from the vehicle, according to police reports. All three individuals were declared deceased at the scene by fire department personnel.
The male driver of the Ford exhibited signs of intoxication, according to police. He was reportedly taken into custody but had not been booked into jail as of Monday, August 4, due to being hospitalized with injuries sustained in the crash.
