Laporsha Jasma Farr Obituary, Death; – A man sought for the fatal shooting of a woman in the neck is now in custody following a three-hour standoff in Greenville County, South Carolina, on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in Fairfield County, South Carolina. Deputies from the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office reported that they were summoned to a residence, where they discovered a woman unresponsive and another individual suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to investigators, a dispute took place within the home, during which a man, later identified as Jerry Jones from Greenville, shot a woman in the neck and another person in the hip.
The woman who sustained the gunshot wound was identified as Laporsha Jasma Farr, 37, from Spartanburg. She succumbed to her injuries at the residence.
The second victim was transported to the hospital.
On Thursday, investigators reported a three-hour standoff in Greenville County, resulting in Jones’s arrest. They also stated that Benny Grady and William Mack face charges as accessories after the fact in relation to this case.
