Carla Mahan Death; – Authorities in Camden County are conducting an investigation into a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a 41-year-old woman on Wednesday afternoon, as reported by Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay on Thursday.
At 3:21 p.m. on Wednesday, Camden County police were dispatched to the intersection of 7th and Tulip Streets following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The woman was subsequently taken to Cooper University Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 4:06 p.m.
The victim has been identified as Carla Mahan, a resident of Camden. Officials have not released any details regarding the vehicle involved in the incident. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
