Aaron Aaby Obituary, Death; – A Grass Valley man has been arrested in connection with the July death of a man in Nevada City.
On July 21, the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office launched a death investigation after an unidentified man was found dead on the side of Banner Quaker Hill Road in Nevada City.
He was later identified as 48-year-old Adrian Aaron Aaby of Grass Valley. Police eventually ruled the death a homicide.
Detectives later identified a person of interest in the case as 49-year-old Damon Brice Abraham. Abraham was arrested on Aug. 7 in Sacramento on unrelated charges after police executed a search warrant at his Grass Valley home.
Abraham has since been charged with murder and will be moved to the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility in Nevada City at a later
