Taevon Jamir Arnold Obituary, Death; – A Pinson man was arrested and charged with murder after a Birmingham man was shot on Friday, Aug. 8.
According to court documents, 37-year-old Terance Akeem Alexander of Pinson is facing murder charges in the death of 31-year-old Taevon Jamir Arnold of Kimberly.
Police were called to investigate a double shooting on 14th Street North at 1st Avenue North. When they arrived, they found a woman and Arnold suffering gunshot wounds.
Arnold was taken to an area hospital for treatment, but he did not survive. The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital for treatment. No word on her condition.
Officials say “an interaction” took place between the two victims and a separate suspect leading to the suspect shooting the victims.
