Jennifer Eureste Obituary, Death;- The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a woman who tragically lost her life on Sunday after being struck by a vehicle on the West Side.
Jennifer Eureste, aged 43, succumbed to blunt force injuries. The medical examiner’s office has classified her death as an accident.
Eureste was reportedly panhandling when she was hit by a vehicle, as stated by the San Antonio Police Department.
The incident occurred just prior to 9 p.m. at the intersection of South General McMullen and Castroville Road.
According to an SAPD sergeant present at the scene, the driver, a man in his mid-70s, had difficulty seeing while driving at night.
Police reported that the man drove his sedan onto the median at the intersection where Eureste was located.
Eureste was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, as mentioned by the sergeant, but unfortunately, she later passed away.
Authorities indicated that the driver remained at the scene and made efforts to assist Eureste following the collision.
The investigation by SAPD is still ongoing.
