Fatima Boughroum Obituary, Death; – Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees has confirmed the identity of the woman who tragically lost her life over the weekend after being struck by a tree that fell in her garden.
As reported by Lees, 53-year-old Fatima Boughroum was fatally injured on Sunday afternoon at her residence located on the 900 block of Bedford Street in Johnstown.
According to investigators, Boughroum was allegedly gardening outside when a large ash tree, which seemed to be decayed, broke and fell approximately 60 feet onto her.
Authorities say she was “killed instantly” by the 1,000-pound tree.
