Allen D. Wood Obituary, Death; – A 47-year-old man has lost his life following a collision with a Jeep Wrangler while he was cycling on Route 1 in Chesterfield County on Thursday morning.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on September 26, officers from the Chesterfield County Police Department arrived at the scene of an accident involving a 2009 Jeep Wrangler and a cyclist. According to police reports, both the Jeep and the cyclist were traveling northbound on Route 1 at the time of the incident.
The driver of the Jeep remained at the location of the accident. The cyclist has been identified as Allen D. Wood, aged 47, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
