Anthony Scott Obituary, Death; – On August 2, 2025, at around 4:20 a.m., deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with officers from the Willis Police Department, conducted a welfare check at a home located in the 500 block of East Marlin Street in Willis, Texas.
Upon their arrival, first responders discovered a deceased male within the residence, who appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Anthony Scott.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, along with Crime Scene Investigators, the Willis Police Department, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and Death Investigators from the Montgomery County Medical Examiner’s Office, are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this homicide. The investigation is still ongoing.
