Jonathan Simmons-Miller Obituary, Death; – A 31-year-old man was killed in a stabbing near the Howard University campus on Wednesday in D.C., police said.
Around 12:20 a.m., D.C. police responded to the report of a stabbing in the 700 block of V Street, Northwest. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from a stab wound. DC Fire and EMS took the victim to the hospital. After life-saving measures failed, he was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Jonathan Simmons-Miller of Gaithersburg, Maryland. As of Thursday, no arrests were made in connection with the case. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Tips can remain anonymous.
