Adrian Curiel Obituary, Death; – The Coroner’s office has confirmed the identity of a 24-year-old man who was admitted to Kern Medical with stab wounds early Saturday morning and subsequently passed away hours later.

Authorities reported that Adrian Curiel, a resident of Bakersfield, sustained his injuries from an unidentified assailant near the intersection of Quincy and Inyo Streets on September 21. Bakersfield police received a call around 2 a.m. regarding a stabbing victim who had just arrived at Memorial Hospital, as stated by the BPD.

Curiel was later transferred to Kern Medical, where he succumbed to his injuries at 6:52 a.m. on September 21. The investigation is being treated as a homicide; however, the Bakersfield Police Department has not yet disclosed any information regarding potential suspects.
