Anthony A. Peplinski Obituary, – Authorities have identified a 27-year-old man who lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on Monday in Marathon County.
Anthony A. Peplinski, a resident of Spencer, was fatally injured in the incident that occurred at 7:51 a.m. near the intersection of State 13 and Merkel Road in the town of Spencer, as reported by the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident resulted in the closure of State 13 for over eight hours between 26th Road and Marathon County F while the Marathon County Crash Reconstruction Team conducted their investigation. The highway was reopened around 4 p.m. on Monday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
