Corey Watts Obituary, Death;- The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office identified the semi driver who died in a crash north of Lincoln on Tuesday.
The crash involving two semitrailers happened around 12:20 p.m. at Highway 77 and Waverly Road.
Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said a westbound semi, driven by 51-year-old Corey Watts, failed to yield to a southbound semi.
Watts, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the semi, Houchin said. He later died from his injuries.
The other semi driver was not seriously injured.
Houchin said that alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash.
