Gabriel Alvarez Obituary, Death;- A man from Connecticut was fatally shot in New York on Monday morning, as reported by the police.
Gabriel Alvarez, aged 22, residing on Goldbach Drive in Stratford, succumbed to injuries he sustained during the shooting in the Bronx, according to a news release from the New York City Police Department on Tuesday.
Officers were dispatched in response to a 911 call reporting two males shot in the 500 block of Brush Avenue at 6 a.m., police indicated, adding that the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the 45th Precinct.
Upon arrival, police officers found a 21-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen and buttocks, as well as a 22-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the armpit and shoulder. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived and transported both
victims to a local hospital in critical condition, where they later passed away.
The other victim involved in the shooting was identified by police as 21-year-old Adam Waldropt, a resident of the Bronx.
