Yap Soh Choo Obituary, Death; – A 74-year-old woman lost her life, while her 43-year-old son suffered injuries following a collision involving the lorry they were traveling in and another lorry near Teluk Intan.
According to Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, the operations assistant director of the Perak Fire and Rescue Department, the accident occurred at approximately 4 PM on Tuesday, September 24, on Jalan Sungkai Kg Air Hitam.
The deceased has been identified as Yap Soh Choo. “The son was operating the one-tonne lorry that collided with the rear of another lorry that was transporting sand. “Both individuals were trapped inside the vehicle.
“The son sustained minor injuries, while the elderly woman was declared dead at the scene by the medical team,” he stated. He further mentioned that the injured son was transferred to health personnel, while the police took the woman’s body for further procedures.
