Brady A Heiling Obituary, Death; – The Wisconsin State Patrol has confirmed the identity of the second individual who lost their life in a collision on I-39/90 near DeForest on July 20.
Brady A. Heiling, a 19-year-old from Minnesota, succumbed to his injuries. Heiling was operating the vehicle involved in the incident. The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a report of a potential head-on collision that involved injuries, entrapment, and a fire shortly after midnight on July 20 on I-39/90 near DeForest.
Authorities report that an SUV was traveling in the wrong direction, heading southbound in the northbound lanes, collided with another vehicle, and became completely engulfed in flames.
On July 24, the Wisconsin State Patrol named a 30-year-old woman from Portage, Noelia Martinez Avila, who was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence and crashing into another vehicle. Officials state that she is believed to have caused the death of a Minnesota teenager identified as Hallie Helgeson.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
