Kent West Obituary, Death; – A man who was stabbed to death in South Los Angeles was identified by authorities Monday.
Kent West, 31, died in the street Sunday morning from multiple sharp force injuries, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.
The assault occurred at about 5:20 a.m. Sunday in the area of 112th Street and Central Avenue, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
Paramedics pronounced West dead at the scene, Cervantes said. Another man was detained for questioning, but it was unclear if he was facing possible charges.
