Alejandro Cervin Arrested; – A suspect has been apprehended following a shooting incident reported by VVNG near Bear Valley and Central Roads in Apple Valley. The arrest was made subsequent to an investigation conducted by the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station and the Specialized Enforcement Division.
VVNG initially reported on the incident in an article titled “Attempted Murder Investigation Launched Following Reports of a Shooting near Central and Bear Valley Roads.” At that time, deputies responded to a report of gunfire on July 16, 2025, at approximately 11:02 p.m.
According to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the victim indicated that the shooting arose from a dispute earlier that evening in Lucerne Valley.
The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Alejandro Cervin from Lucerne Valley, allegedly followed the victim into Apple Valley and discharged a firearm at their vehicle at the intersection. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Following the initial report, the Apple Valley Detective Bureau continued the investigation. On July 23, 2025, with assistance from the Specialized Enforcement Division, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 11000 block of Locust Avenue in Lucerne Valley, where Cervin was arrested without incident.
Cervin was booked at the High Desert Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being held in lieu of $800,000 bail.
