The discovery took place on the morning of Saturday, July 19, within a truck parked at 230 Northeast 4th Street in Downtown Miami, as confirmed by the Police Department.

Rodríguez resided in New York but had traveled to Miami for work, where she was employed as a dancer in a nightclub. Friends and family reported her missing after she ceased responding to phone calls.

Her friend Francheska Martínez recounted that she was the last person to communicate with her, shortly before 2:30 AM on Thursday.

“I was aware that someone from Detroit was coming whom she was expecting… she met this individual at one of the clubs where she worked,” she stated in an interview with Telemundo 51.

“What I had was practically two days spent with that individual,” she added.

The disappearance prompted an extensive search by her loved ones. Her brother, Randy Parra, traveled from New York in hopes of finding her alive.
“We received a message indicating that they have located the car with two bodies,” he reported.

Preliminary information suggests that both bodies sustained multiple gunshot wounds, although authorities have yet to reveal a potential motive for the crime.

The police are exploring the possibility of third-party involvement, as it is believed that Coon was not accountable for Rodríguez’s death.

“First and foremost, we seek justice and answers,” expressed the victim’s brother in comments to Univision.

Friends and family of Rodríguez, who had recently relocated to Miami, characterized her as a joyful individual devoted to her son. “She was an excellent mother; she was a good mother to my nephew,” her brother reminisced.

During a memorial service held in his honor in New York, her loved ones sought answers.

The homicide detectives of the Miami Police are actively pursuing their investigation into the case.

Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to come forward.
