Kaitlyn Nicole Murphy Obituary, Death; – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who was killed in a crash with a semi on U.S. 30 early Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of U.S. 30 and W County Line Road. First responders say 22-year-old Kaitlyn Nicole Murphy of Newcomerstown, Ohio, was headed west on U.S. 30 when she failed to stop at the stoplight and rear-ended a semi-trailer.
Murphy was pronounced dead at the scene, and the semi driver was uninjured. Her death was ruled an accident, marking the 25th fatal crash in Allen County so far this year.
