Kevin Allen Obituary, Death; – An Ohio man’s death on Norris Lake has marked the 15th deadly boating incident of 2025 in Tennessee. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Kevin Allen, a 53-year-old man from Middletown, died near the Hickory Point subdivision, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
Wildlife officers responded to the scene after getting a call that Allen was being given CPR on the boat, a news release from TWRA said. The release also said investigators found that Allen had been on a wakeboard when he fell into the water. He later got back on the boat, TWRA said and passed out.
Someone at the scene told TWRA Allen had a medical condition that could have contributed to his death, the news release said.
At this time, TWRA has not said whether the death was caused by the medical condition or by the boating.
