Frances Sullivan Obituary, Death; – A woman from Rhode Island has been apprehended in relation to a collision in Milford that resulted in the death of a passenger in another vehicle.
Nina Reed, aged 43, from Providence, R.I., surrendered to the Milford Police Department on July 7 and now faces charges of negligent homicide involving a vehicle and failure to comply with a stop sign.
On the evening of May 10, Reed’s Jeep Compass was heading north on the Milford Parkway when it veered off the road to the right, traversed the grass, and subsequently entered Boston Post Road, colliding with a Toyota Corolla. A Chevrolet Volt then struck the right side of the Toyota.
The driver and passenger of the Toyota were transported to a nearby hospital, where the passenger, identified as Frances Sullivan, aged 59, succumbed to her injuries the following day, according to Milford police.
Reed was released on a bond of $70,000 and is set to appear in court on August 5.
