Alexa Miller Obituary, Death; – The Butler County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the 17-year-old driver who tragically lost her life in a crash in Hanover Township on Tuesday morning.
Alexa Miller, a resident of Liberty Township, was declared deceased in the 2100 block of Ross Hanover Road at 4:48 a.m., as reported by the coroner’s office.
At the time of the incident, another teenager was present in the passenger seat of the vehicle that Miller was operating when it collided with a tree at approximately 1:30 a.m., according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
The passenger, who is also 17 years old, was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight due to serious injuries, as stated by deputies.
Both individuals were seniors at Lakota West High School, as confirmed by the Lakota Local School District.
According to previous reports from NEWSCHAIAN investigators found that a 2014 Acura was traveling west on Ross Hanover Road when it lost control, veered off the pavement, and struck a tree.
The sheriff’s office is currently examining speed as a potential factor in the crash. They have determined that drugs and alcohol did not play a role in the incident.
