Allecia Wolfe Obituary, Death; – A murder investigation is currently in progress following the discovery of a Florida woman’s body in Manchester.
Allecia Wolfe, aged 40, has been confirmed as the individual found in a field behind the Truckers Inn last Monday. She is also referred to as Allecia Carnley, as per official reports.
Wolfe’s family is attempting to understand how she ended up in Tennessee, having originated from Orlando. Her daughter, Aleah Carnley, was in the process of filing a missing person report when an officer arrived at her home to inform her of Wolfe’s death.
“I was holding my son, and I collapsed because we sensed something was amiss,” Carnley recounted. “My grandmother and I had a feeling that something was wrong since she hadn’t reached out to any of us in the last few days. We were aware that something was off. I had a slight expectation of this news, but it was still not what I wanted to hear.”
Authorities informed Carnley that her mother did not exhibit any clear signs of cause of death, such as gunshot or stab wounds, yet they are continuing to treat it as a homicide investigation.
Carnley mentioned that Wolfe was last seen by friends on Friday night entering a black vehicle in Orlando, three days prior to the discovery of her body in Manchester.
“My mother did face challenges with addiction,” Carnley stated. “She was involved in street work. She was not known to associate with truckers or similar individuals, so I am perplexed as to why she was found near a truck stop. It’s an entirely confusing situation.”
According to Carnley, their family has no ties to Tennessee, leaving them uncertain as to why Wolfe was located between Nashville and Chattanooga along I-24.
District Attorney Craig Northcott indicated that Manchester Police and the TBI are collaborating on the investigation. They are pursuing leads and seeking additional evidence.
“I will never get my mother back,” Carnley expressed. “I simply want to understand what transpired.”
The family has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to assist with Wolfe’s funeral costs. They are hopeful that someone with pertinent information will step forward to aid them in achieving closure regarding this case.
