Eliot Eichbauer,Arlo Eichbauer Obituary, Death; – A 24-year-old man from Indiana has been charged in connection with a fatal accident that occurred on Monday, resulting in the deaths of three individuals on June 11 in Butler County.
The victims of the crash included 46-year-old Eliot Eichbauer, his 19-year-old son Arlo Eichbauer, and his 16-year-old nephew Silas Eichbauer, all residents of Wichita. Eliot was employed as a teacher at Curtis Middle School in Wichita. Arlo was his son, while Silas, his nephew, was a student at North High School.
Tyler James Beauclaire was apprehended on July 9 in Beech Grove, Indiana, related to the incident. He faces charges in Butler County District Court, including three counts of second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated battery concerning the passengers in his vehicle.
Investigators in Butler County suspect that Beauclaire was driving a Chevy pickup truck that collided head-on with a Toyota Tacoma on Highway 400. A witness reported to deputies that the pickup had been swerving across the highway just prior to the collision.
