Raul Zuniga Obituary, Death; – A man who was fatally shot during a confrontation at a West Side apartment complex has been identified, as reported by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Raul Zuniga, aged 34, succumbed to a gunshot wound to the torso, according to the medical examiner’s office. His death has been classified as a homicide.
San Antonio police officers arrived at the scene of the shooting around 11 p.m. on Wednesday at a complex located in the 1900 block of Potosi Street.
Witnesses indicated that they observed two to three men engaged in a “physical altercation” just prior to Zuniga being shot in the back, as detailed in a preliminary police report.
Zuniga was declared dead at the scene.
The individuals involved fled the location following the shooting and have yet to be captured, according to the report.
