Dorinda Segebrecht Obituary, Death; – Authorities confirmed the woman found in the back seat of the SUV that fled from Nebraska state troopers near Lincoln early Wednesday was a 67-year-old woman from Wisconsin.
Dorinda Segebrecht of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, was last seen Monday around noon, according to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office of southwest Wisconsin. The Nebraska State Patrol said a SUV fled from troopers on Interstate 80 and then crashed Wednesday around 2 a.m. The driver of the SUV, 23-year-old Gavin Thompson of Dodgeville, allegedly ran from the scene and was arrested about four hours later, troopers said.
In the back seat of the vehicle, troopers found Segebrecht and “it was clear the woman had died before the crash,” troopers said.
Charges to be filed against Thompson by Iowa County District Attorney Zach Leigh include first-degree intentional homicide, burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon, hiding a corpse and operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent,
