Lakretia Clancy Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the woman who passed away on Wednesday after a shooting incident in Hinesville.
On Thursday, Hinesville Police Chief Tracey Howard revealed that the victim was Lakretia Clancy, aged 27. Howard noted that she is the daughter of Levern Clancy Jr., the Mayor of Midway.
According to police reports, Clancy was shot on Tuesday evening in the vicinity of Strickland Road and E.G. Miles Parkway. She was discovered in a vehicle with a gunshot wound and was subsequently airlifted to Memorial Health University Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
As of now, law enforcement has not disclosed any arrests related to this case.
