Cynthia Sciarrone Seith Obituary, Death; – Detectives from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office have identified the woman who was fatally shot early Tuesday morning in the Lucerne Lakes area of Lake Worth.
The deceased has been named as Cynthia Sciarrone Seith, 54, whose body was found shortly after 3:00 a.m. on July 9 in the 4700 block of Lucerne Lakes Boulevard. Deputies arrived at the scene in response to a report of an unresponsive female and discovered Seith had succumbed to an apparent gunshot wound.
The PBSO Violent Crimes Division is conducting a homicide investigation into the incident. No arrests have been made thus far, and the motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
Seith’s identity was made public on Wednesday after her next of kin were notified. Detectives have not revealed whether the shooting took place inside a home or outside, and it is still unclear if there was any prior relationship between the victim and the shooter.
Authorities are appealing to anyone with information regarding the case to step forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS. “This is an active and ongoing investigation,” stated the PBSO. “We urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to reach out to our detectives.”
