Angel Olguin Obituary, Death; – Phoenix police say an early morning shooting in west Phoenix ended with a man dead and a teen in custody early Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the area of 84th Avenue and Pioneer Street, just south of Lower Buckeye Road, around 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found 19-year-old Angel Olguin dead at the scene.
A short time later, police identified an underage teen suspect, who was detained. Homicide detectives are now working to learn more about what led up to the shooting. Phoenix police say the teen was interviewed about the shooting and was later booked into the Maricopa County Juvenile Correctional Center on murder and other felony charges.
No other information has been released.
