Beatriz Guzman,Jeronimo Aleman Ramirez Obituary, Death;- An arrest affidavit discloses that the individual who fatally shot his former girlfriend and her new partner outside a Southside H-E-B is the uncle of the new partner.
The incident took place shortly before 11 p.m., just outside an H-E-B situated off South New Braunfels Street on Sunday evening. Authorities reported that a dispute erupted among the three individuals, which escalated into gunfire.
Upon the arrival of San Antonio Police at the location, they discovered both victims, Beatriz Guzman, aged 41, and Jeronimo Aleman Ramirez, aged 31, with gunshot injuries. They were declared dead at the scene.
Law enforcement has named the suspect as 49-year-old Lorenzo Aleman, who is thought to have had a romantic involvement with Guzman and is the uncle of Aleman Ramirez.
Investigators indicate that Aleman shot his nephew and ex-girlfriend out of jealousy during their encounter.
