Kalani Mason Jr Obituary, Death; – The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was killed in an early morning homicide in south Bakersfield on July 11.
Coroner officials said Kalani Mason Jr., 30, of Bakersfield was shot in the 1500 block of Padre Street around 2:15 a.m.. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Bakersfield Police Department said another man was also stabbed in this incident. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
