Brantley McNabb,Malik Benson Obituary, Death; – A young teenage boy was one of three individuals who lost their lives in the shootings that occurred in Montgomery from Thursday to Saturday.

On Monday, police officials identified the deceased as Brantley McNabb, aged 15, Malik Benson, aged 27, and Dekeith Whatley, aged 26.

At 2:41 p.m. on Thursday, officers and fire medics were dispatched to respond to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Air Base Boulevard. Brantley was declared dead at the scene.

Benson and Whatley were fatally shot in connected incidents on Saturday afternoon. First responders were sent at 3:55 p.m. to reports of shootings in the 400 block of North California Street and the 2700 block of Upper Wetumpka Road.

Officers were informed that the shootings were likely interconnected. Benson wa The second victim, Whatley, was discovered injured on Upper Wetumpka Road and was also pronounced dead.
