Man Shot to Death After Breaking Up Fight in La Mirada Identified. Green was fatally shot just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Montgomery police Sgt. Tina McGriff reported that officers and fire medics were sent to the vicinity of Day Street near Cortez Street following a report of a collision involving a pedestrian.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Green, a resident of Montgomery, deceased at the scene. The incident that resulted in Wheeler’s death occurred at 11:40 p.m. on Friday in the 4400 block of Selma Highway. Wheeler, who was from Camden, was transported to a hospital where he subsequently passed away.
Further information regarding the fatal incidents has not been disclosed. Investigations are currently ongoing.
