Dennis Smith Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of an 82-year-old man who lost his life last week in a collision in Upper Macungie Township.
Dennis Smith, a resident of Weisenberg Township, passed away on Friday as a result of the incident on Route 100 and Tilghman Street, as stated in a news release from Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.
Smith was operating a vehicle that was part of a three-vehicle collision at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Buglio indicated that the cause of death was multiple blunt-force trauma, and the incident was classified as accidental.
The Upper Macungie police, along with the Lehigh County Crash Reconstruction Team and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, are currently conducting an investigation into the crash.
