Cateria Sharae Birchfield Obituary, Death; – Bessemer Police are conducting an investigation into a homicide following the shooting death of a 26-year-old woman early Saturday morning.
As reported by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Cateria Sharae Birchfield, a resident of Birmingham, was shot in the 200 block of 26th Street South shortly after 2 a.m. She was taken to UAB Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries just under two hours later.
