Anthony Linton Obituary, Death; – The High Point Police Department has revealed that the victim in a deadly shooting on Sunday was a 60-year-old man.
At around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers came to the 1000 block of Sales Street after getting a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
At the scene, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency personnel rendered aid to the man; however, he died as a result of injuries at the scene.
On Monday morning, investigators identified the victim as Anthony Linton, 60, of High Point.
